GRAND PRIX!!
In an effort to encourage participation in local area running events, Los Angeles Frontrunners offers the LAFR Grand Prix Series. The “Grand Prix” format is used by many running clubs as a fun and exciting way to generate interest in racing and to support your fellow runners and walkers.
So what exactly is a Grand Prix Series? Take a bunch of LAFR members, a variety of races over the course of 12 months, and award points to each person for their performance. Points are awarded in each division and additional points can be earned for setting a PR, wearing your LAFR uniform, or running your first marathon!

The Grand Prix Series is open to all members regardless of age or experience. Whether you’re a new runner looking to enter your first race or an experienced competitor looking for your next big challenge — everyone is welcome!
